Ghana's U23 head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, has called upon his players to maintain unwavering concentration and focus when they face Morocco in a crucial TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations clash on Tuesday.

With both Morocco and Ghana securing victories in their opening Group A matches, the clash at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat promises to be a tightly contested affair.

Tanko emphasized the challenges of facing a host team, acknowledging the need for heightened focus and concentration in such encounters.

"These are the matches we live for. We will rise to the occasion. The home crowd will be against us, the atmosphere will be electric, and it provides an opportunity for us to assess our players' reactions in such situations," remarked the Ghana coach.

During the pre-match press conference, Tanko noted that the tension among his players has eased, signaling their growing readiness for the upcoming challenge.

Ibrahim Danlad, a key member of the team who previously represented Ghana in the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN), expressed his determination to secure a spot in the Olympics alongside his teammates.

"Our focus is solely on continuing our tournament journey smoothly, making the match against Morocco all the more significant. We will not entertain any thoughts of calculations; instead, we strive for a decisive victory," affirmed Danlad.

A win for Ghana in this crucial encounter would see them become the first team in the tournament to secure a place in the semi-finals.

As the anticipation builds for this captivating fixture, the Ghanaian squad remains fully aware of the challenges that lie ahead.
